Dreamers,

I slept like a baby last night. When I woke up, I felt so mellow and I could easily have slept for another few hours. I literally had to drag myself out of bed. Here is my dream from last night.

Sunday 22nd August 2021

I dreamed I had applied for a talent contest and I saw the lady who was running it. I went up to her to say I applied to overcome my anxiety of doing stuff in public. I was going to be singing. The drawback was that I can’t sing to save my life! (Yep, that’s in real life too). The lady was so complimentary towards me and saying how I was going to do myself proud. I knew I had put on a front because as it set in I was starting to freak out and I was already thinking how I could get out of it. Then I went into the room where there were hundreds of contestants. I went to sign in. I had applied with the surname Jackson as in Michael Jackson and then when I had to formally sign in I said that was only a stage name and did they want my real name. Next thing I was sat at one of the tables with other contestants and we were all talking about what we were going to do. I was frantically thinking of a way not to get up and sing. Then I decided I was going to stand up and tell everyone about some of the dreams I have had.

I would never in my life apply for a singing competition. As I said I can’t sing at all and I wouldn’t want to embarrass myself, especially when everyone has a camera in their hands. I know I would be circulated around the world in a split second if that was to happen. Thankfully I know better. What a strange dream though.
