Good Afternoon,

It’s actually making me cry to tell you about the dream I had last night. It was horrible and disturbing. It kept turning over and over in my head. I woke up feeling sick and upset. Have a read, and you’ll know why.

Tuesday 24th November 2020

I kept seeing my cat on a veterinary table. He was being put to sleep. All I kept seeing was the needle going towards him and the look on his face. He was looking at the needle getting closer to him. He didn’t know what was happening to him, but I did. I kept looking at the needle and him and it made me feel so sick and upset inside my stomach. How could I do this to him? I’m his mum!!

This was horrible. I didn’t see it just the once. It was on a loop. The same thing playing over and over again. Thankfully, the needle didn’t ever go in him. My cat is very elderly and sick at the moment, but I would never put him to sleep, unless he was in unbearable pain. I mean let’s face it. You wouldn’t put your grandparents to sleep just because they were old, so why would you do this to your pet? He’s not just a pet or a cat. He is my family! He’s my child!! My mum always told me believe the opposite. So hopefully this dream I had means he is still going to be with me for as long as his tiny heart will let him.
