Afternoon Dreamers,

Another night where I haven’t slept. I didn’t get to sleep until 3am because I was tossing and turning. I woke up just after 6am so I’ve really had the most horrible night and I woke feeling sick, anxious and upset. Only one dream though. Here it is.

Monday 7th June 2021

I found myself on the seafront not far from where I live and the waves came in big and strong. The tide was moving closer and closer to me, but as I tried to run away, it caught up and swept me out to see. I felt like I was drowning and I couldn’t breathe. I had to try to wake up. I did wake up, quite suddenly and it made me feel like I was having a sleep paralysis episode.

I always suffer sleep paralysis when I am over tired. This wasn’t sleep paralysis as normally I am in my body, in my room and everything around me seems so real. Not saying this dream didn’t feel real. It did. But there was just a different feeling with this one. I still feel a bit anxious and I have felt like this for a couple of days now. Hopefully it will pass soon.
