(Esp-Eng) Poema: Despedida/ Poem: Farewell.

Mi corazón no se va con esta despedida. He anhelado los sueños, roto las promesas y, con cada sonrisa, he mirado al cielo. Te vas, pero ¿acaso te vas solo? Suerte de vida. Grata la angustia, y en cada vuelo se abre la herida. Galopa triunfante, suspira, olvida. Recorre los páramos de verdes olivas, y en cada latido, sonríe a la brisa. No se va, es cierto, con esta despedida; va mirando al rostro tallado en la arcilla.

My heart does not leave with this farewell. I have yearned for dreams, broken promises, and, with every smile, I have looked to the sky. You leave, but are you leaving alone? A twist of fate. Sweet the anguish, and in every flight, the wound opens. Gallop triumphant, sigh, forget. Travel the moors of green olive trees, and with every heartbeat, smile at the breeze.
