Amor que hoy sueña a escondidas

con un corazón distante,

florece por cada herida

que entierra una luz triunfante.

Escucha un par de canciones,

recita un par de poemas

y llora junto a las flores

que ha visto en una botella.

Suspira por vieja frase,

ignora la gran pasión

y espera a ese corazón

que llegue y no lo amenace.

Quiere sentir su presencia,

quiere entregarle su amor,

sabe que cada ilusión

será como luz distante.

Y busca sentir la magia

que surge y no la abandona,

que teme junto a la aurora

el fin de todas las ansias.

Porque un amor a distancia

que quiere y está ausente

tiende a no estar latente

cual vieja canción de amor.
