Let's make a simple scrunchie hair band with elastic band using fabric
Hello everyone
Greetings to you all on this beautiful day, I hope you are all doing great, it is another creative day for me to share with you one of the simplest and useful craft you can make from your little piece of fabric just at the corner of your room.
As a seamstress we usually have a lot of pieces of fabric from the previous outfit we have made, to get rid of this pieces of fabric, it will not be something nice to trash them away, instead, I have decided to be making simple crafts from it which will be useful and also to be given out as gifts to others who will appreciate it. This is one the simple and useful hair band I made and I hope you will like the beautiful outcome. It easy, simple and fast to make.
Let's get started with the making
I picked out a small piece from the lots of pieces of fabrics I have and I measured 2.5 x 18"
I folded the fabric in two and on the wrong side, I marked 1" from top and at the end while I sew on a straight line stitch down to where I marked
After sewing it, i was turned inside out to the right side
The two ends were pretty together and sewn on the wrong side, making I having an opening where an elastic will be inserted
I top stitched on the opening leaving a little opening and I cut out an elastic band 10x0.5"
With a safety pin,I inserted the elastic band into the small opening round and was sewn together at the end, finally,I top stitched on the opening and this is the final outcome.
I hope you like the beautiful outcome of this simple and useful craft I made from this small piece of fabric. Join me in my next post for beautiful creativity.
This can be used to bond my hair, packaged to sell or given out as gifts to love ones.
Thanks so much for your time, support, comment and encouragement. Until my next post, do enjoy your day
