A WALK WITH ABBA FATHER... IS QUITE PROFITABLE

Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ beautiful people, it's a wonderful moment to share life experiences with you all. So One of the most important lessons God has been teaching me since I decided to walk closely with Him is that I cannot live the Christian life by my own strength.

When I first gave my life to Christ, I thought that following Him was simply a matter of determination and self-discipline. I told myself things like, "Today, I will not lie. Today, I will not gossip. Today, I will not watch things that do not honor God. Today, I will not fall into sin."

I genuinely wanted to please God, so I challenged myself daily to do better. However, I soon discovered something frustrating: the very things I promised myself I would not do were often the same things I found myself doing. No matter how strong my intentions were, my human strength was not enough.

Recently, God has been teaching me a different approach. Instead of relying solely on my willpower, I have begun involving Him in my struggles.

Now, I pray specific prayers. I say:
"Lord, teach my heart not to be jealous when others are succeeding."

"Lord, help me to tell the truth even in difficult situations."

"Lord, help me overcome the sins I continually struggle with."

"Holy Spirit, give me the strength to let go of anything that is pulling me away from You."

As I have started bringing these areas before God, I have noticed a real difference. There have been moments when I was alone, moments when temptation was strong, and moments when my mind was pulling me toward things I knew were not God's will. In those moments, I remembered that I had asked God for help, and He was faithful to strengthen me.

What I am learning is that spiritual growth is not about trying harder; it is about depending more deeply on God. Victory over sin does not come from human effort alone, it comes through the power and help of the Holy Spirit.

The truth is that before we came to Christ, many of us had areas of weakness, habits, and struggles that had become deeply rooted in our lives. Those things do not disappear overnight. We need the Holy Spirit to work within us, transforming us daily and giving us the grace to overcome.

That is why I encourage every believer: do not try to fight your battles alone. Invite the Holy Spirit into every area of your life. Let Him help you where you are weak. Let Him guide your thoughts, your words, your decisions, and your desires.

The Christian journey was never designed to be lived independently. It is a life of dependence on God. As Scripture says, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord."

When we stop trusting in our own strength and begin relying on God's strength, we discover that He is more than able to help us become the people He has called us to be.
