Our first smart TV?

Hace poco mi hijo daño su tv box, bueno, en realidad el control… Mi suegro nos comento para ayudarnos a comprar un nuevo Tv box ya que el control de este modelo que teníamos no existe, después de pensarlo un rato creímos que sería mejor directamente comprar un Smart tv y asi tendría yo tambien un tv en mi cuarto (usaría el tv viejo con el tv box y una app de control remoto de celular) y le dejaría el tv nuevo a mi hijo.

My son recently broke his TV box—well, actually, the remote… My father-in-law offered to help us buy a new TV box since the remote for the model we had is no longer available. After thinking about it for a while, we decided it would be better to just buy a Smart TV—that way, I’d also have a TV in my room (I’d use the old TV with the TV box and a remote control app on my phone), and I’d let my son have the new TV.

No es facil adquirir otra deuda además de las que ya tenemos, pero como tenemos la ayuda de mi suegro pudimos animarnos a hacer esta locura, realmente nunca había tenido un tv tan moderno, es como usar el TV box, pero todo integrado en un solo tv. Si les soy sincera me asuste bastante cuando vi el tv en persona y lo cargue, se siente sumamente liviano y delicado.

It's not easy to take on more debt on top of what we already have, but since we had my father-in-law's help, we were able to go ahead with this crazy idea. I've never actually had such a modern TV before—it's like using a TV box, but with everything built into a single TV. To be honest, I was pretty scared when I saw the TV in person and picked it up—it feels extremely light and delicate.

Lo PEOR es que después de pagar la primera cuota del TV nos dimos cuenta que el control que mi hijo mojo ya funcionaba como si nada, supongo que solo tenia que secarse pero realmente entramos en pánico… Ya no había tiempo de arrepentirse e igualmente era algo que tenia pensado desde hace mucho ya que yo también quería un TV en mi habitación… Y como este nuevo tv se ve tan hermoso y delicado decidí ponerlo en mi habitación y mantenerlo a salvo del pequeño tornado de 8 años.

The WORST part is that after paying the first installment for the TV, we realized that the remote my son had gotten wet was working just fine—I guess it just needed to dry out, but we really panicked… There was no time to change our minds, and anyway, it was something I’d been planning for a long time since I also wanted a TV in my room… And since this new TV looks so beautiful and delicate, I decided to put it in my room and keep it safe from the little 8-year-old tornado.

Fue como configurar un teléfono e incluso mis fotos se pasaron al tv, fue muy loco, pero me encanta, este tv costo $160 y hasta ahora ha funcionado super bien, además se ve muy nítido y se escucha super bien, se siente tan raro tener un Tv en mi habitación después de tanto tiempo sin tener alguna..

It was like setting up a phone—even my photos transferred to the TV. It was pretty crazy, but I love it. This TV cost $160 and so far it’s worked really well. Plus, the picture is crystal clear and the sound is great. It feels so weird to have a TV in my room after not having one for so long...

Tambien trajo esta cosa para instalarlo en la pared, pero sinceramente no se si quede bien en mi cuarto, no hay mucho espacio donde ponerlo y que no sea incomodo, no estoy muy convencida pero igual es bueno tener esta herramienta.

It also brought this thing to hang on the wall, but honestly, I'm not sure if it looks good in my room—there isn't much space to put it without it getting in the way. I'm not entirely convinced, but it's still nice to have this tool.
