If something can go wrong, it will go wrong

No ha pasado ni una semana desde que me compre mi celular nuevo y ya paso una desgracia jaja, parece que fuese chiste o mentira, pero realmente asi es mi suerte… No es la primera vez que me pasa es como si la vida se pusiera de acuerdo para que todo salga mal. Resulta que ayer mi hijo ensucio su celular y lo quiso limpiar y no se le ocurrió una mejor idea que tomar toallitas húmedas y pasárselas una y otra vez al celular por la pantalla, estas toallitas húmedas literalmente son MUY HUMEDAS, yo no vi cuando el hizo eso ya que en ese momento estaba limpiando mi cuarto, en la noche me dijo “mami, mi teléfono está loco” y yo “¿Qué?” cuando veo decía que estaba cargando cuando NO estaba cargando.

It hasn't even been a week since I got my new phone and something terrible has already happened, haha. It seems like a joke, but that's really my luck… It's not the first time this has happened to me; it's like life conspires to make everything go wrong. Yesterday, my son got his phone dirty and wanted to clean it. He thought the best thing to do was take baby wipes and repeatedly wipe the screen. These wipes are literally VERY wet. I didn't see him do it because I was cleaning my room at the time. Later that night, he told me, "Mommy, my phone is acting crazy," and I was like, "What?" When I checked, it said it was charging when it wasn't.

Cuando le quito el forro para ver mejor que pasa resulta que el celular estaba EMPAPADO DE AGUA, agua de las toallitas húmedas, era tanta agua que al separar el forro del celular me cayo en las piernas, ahí me di cuenta que el problema era ese y además la pantalla se comenzó a desprender, se podía ver como se estaba alzando la pantalla en la parte de abajo, la pantalla comenzó a verse con rayas muy parecidas a las que tiene mi celular viejo, me pareció un chiste de muy mal gusto como después de hacer un gasto tan grande para comprarme un celular mi hijo dañe el suyo, poniéndome en una situación difícil donde quisiera poder comprarle uno a el, pero me costo demasiado poder comprarme el mío.

When I removed the case to get a better look, I found the phone was SOAKED IN WATER, water from the baby wipes. There was so much water that when I separated the case from the phone, it dripped onto my legs. That's when I realized that was the problem, and the screen also started to detach. I could see the bottom of the screen lifting up, and it began to show lines very similar to those on my old phone. I thought it was a terrible joke that after spending so much money on a new pone for me, my son damaged his phone, putting me in a difficult situation where I wish I could buy him one, but it was too hard to afford my own.

Pero por suerte mi suegro me dijo que tenia un celular de sobra para mi hijo, pero debe limpiarlo antes y me lo va a traer mañana probablemente… Eso me dejo un poco mas tranquila hasta que hoy paso otra desgracia jajaja, mi hijo viene a mi y me dice que el control de la tv box no sirve, cuando reviso las baterías me doy cuenta que estaba MOJADO POR DENTRO, es decir, hizo lo mismo que con el celular, pero esta vez lo lleno de colonia, no entiendo que pasa por su cabeza, parece que dimos 400 pasos atrás y llegamos a los 3 años de nuevo. Mi molestia fue tan grande que hasta ahora tengo migraña y obviamente lo castigue y paso el dia de hoy super aburrido, básicamente el mismo se condeno a pasar un día de total aburrimiento ya que daño su propio teléfono y hasta el control de la tv.

But luckily, my father-in-law told me he had a spare cell phone for my son, but he needs to clean it first and will probably bring it to me tomorrow… That put me a little more at ease until today when another disaster happened, haha. My son came to me and said the TV box remote didn't work. When I checked the batteries, I realized it was WET INSIDE. He did the same thing as with the cell phone, but this time he filled it with cologne. I don't understand what goes through his head. It's like we've taken 400 steps back and are now three years old again. I was so annoyed that I still have a migraine, and obviously, I grounded him. He spent today incredibly bored. Basically, he condemned himself to a day of total boredom since he damaged his own phone and even the TV remote.

Intente limpiarlo y secarlo lo mejor que pude, pero fue imposible, intente abrirlo por completo, pero no se puede… busque este modelo de control en mi país para ver si podía reemplazarlo, pero al parecer no existe más., asi que probablemente tenga que comprar un tv stick completamente nuevo… Al menos eso si es más económico

I tried to clean and dry it as best I could, but it was impossible. I tried to open it completely, but it won't budge. I looked for this model of remote in my country to see if I could replace it, but it seems it's no longer available, so I'll probably have to buy a completely new TV stick. At least that's cheaper.

hasta compre pilas nuevas pensando ilusamente que quizás las baterías se dañaron por el agua pero el control quizás si servía, y no… No funciono.

I even bought new batteries, naively thinking that maybe the batteries were damaged by the water but the remote control might still work, and no… It didn't work.

Mi regaño fue bastante fuerte asi que tengo fe de que mañana NO ME DAÑARA NINGUNA OTRA COSA, ya le explique explícitamente que el agua LOS LIQUIDOS ETC DAÑAN LAS COSAS, incluso pienso y tuvo demasiada suerte de que el celular no le explotara en la cara ayer, aun no comprendo como ese celular aguanto el agua por tantas horas, por que sí, paso bastante tiempo antes de darnos cuenta que el celular se estaba dañando.

My scolding was quite severe, so I have faith that tomorrow he WON'T DAMAGE ANYTHING ELSE. I already explained explicitly that water, liquids, etc., damage things. I even think he was incredibly lucky that the phone didn't explode in his face yesterday. I still don't understand how that phone withstood the water for so many hours, because yes, quite a bit of time passed before we realized the phone was getting damaged.
