Desde que mi hijo nació ha sido un retrato vivo de su padre, prácticamente mi esposo volvió a nacer jajaja, creo que si lo veo bien, lo único que puede parecerse a mi es la forma de sus ojos, pero solo la forma ni siquiera el color jaja, pero hay algo que he notado con el paso de los años y es que no solo heredo físicamente a su padre, tambien heredo los problemas, las alergias, la delicadeza de su piel jaja.

Ever since my son was born, he’s been the spitting image of his father—it’s almost like my husband was reborn, hahaha. I think if I look closely, the only thing that might resemble me is the shape of his eyes—but just the shape, not even the color, haha. But there’s something I’ve noticed over the years: he didn’t just inherit his father’s physical traits—he also inherited his problems, his allergies, and his sensitive skin, haha.

En esa foto por ejemplo se ve el parecido, en la izquierda mi esposo en la derecha mi hijo, pero lo mas preocupante ahora ha sido que mi hijo con tan solo 8 años ya esta sufriendo de alergias bastante fuertes en el rostro, es algo que nos dijo hace mucho tiempo una dermatóloga, pero no pensamos que se haría presente tan pronto. Por suerte hemos tratado la situación y estamos viendo una mejoría leve, mas bien se esta controlando la alergia poco a poco.

In that photo, for example, you can see the resemblance—my husband on the left and my son on the right. But what’s most concerning right now is that my son, who’s only 8 years old, is already suffering from pretty severe facial allergies. A dermatologist told us about this a long time ago, but we didn’t think it would show up so soon. Fortunately, we’ve been treating the condition and are seeing a slight improvement; the allergy is gradually coming under control.

Tal y como nos dijo la dermatóloga, su alergia se acentuara o se aliviara dependiendo de muchos factores, el más importante es el clima, si hace calor se va a brotar muchísimo y justamente eso hemos notado, se acentúan mucho más cuando hace calor y casi todos los días estamos en este calor infernal.

As the dermatologist told us, her allergy will either get worse or improve depending on many factors, the most important of which is the weather; if it’s hot, she’ll break out a lot, and that’s exactly what we’ve noticed—her symptoms get much worse when it’s hot, and we’re stuck in this sweltering heat almost every day.

Además de alergia tambien tiene la piel bastante seca y necesita hidratación constante, si no, pasa como se puede ver en la foto que tiene una mancha blanca en su rostro… Hemos estado aplicándole una crema que nos receto la doctora que es bastante buena pero SUPER costosa, se llama Cetaphil.

In addition to her allergies, she also has very dry skin and needs constant moisturizing; otherwise, as you can see in the photo, she gets a white patch on her face… We’ve been applying a cream prescribed by the doctor that works really well but is SUPER expensive—it’s called Cetaphil.

Y no solo heredo eso tambien tiene el tabique desviado… ¡Ah! Y próximamente usará lentes ya que mi esposo y yo estamos ciegos y mi hijo ya esta comenzando a dar señales de miopía jaja, al menos puedo darme un poco de crédito por eso ¿no?

And not only did he inherit that, but he also has a deviated septum… Oh! And he’ll be wearing glasses soon since my husband and I are nearsighted and my son is already starting to show signs of nearsightedness, haha—at least I can take a little credit for that, right?.
