Continuum Seer

Muy buenas noches a todos, esta semana he elegido la carta de Continuum Seer para recrearla a mi estilo, esta carta es bastante genial y atractiva visualmente, quise dibujar su rostro y torso, añadiendo luces de color cian alrededor, el fondo no es mi favorito pero quería agregarlo de este color que es muy parecido a la carta original, nunca he hecho esto asi que me pareció buena idea agregar ese color de fondo, el traje es parecido pero no es igual, me gusto este diseño un poco mas simple, faltaron algunos detalles como este reloj de arena que vemos en la imagen original pero realmente no sabia como incorporarlo en mi dibujo y no quería descartar este boceto ya que me gusto muchísimo, a pesar de todas las dificultades me encanto el resultado final, espero que les guste.

Very good evening everyone, this week I have chosen the Continuum Seer card to recreate it in my style, this card is pretty cool and visually appealing, I wanted to draw her face and torso, adding cyan lights around her, the background is not my favorite but I wanted to add it in this color which is very similar to the original card, I have never done this so I thought it was a good idea to add that background color, the suit is similar but not the same, I liked this design a little simpler, some details were missing like this hourglass that we see in the original image but I really didn't know how to incorporate it in my drawing and I didn't want to discard this sketch because I really liked it, despite all the difficulties I love the final result, I hope you like it.

Realice el boceto y elegí los tonos para la piel, al principio coloque una tonalidad de piel rosa bastante pálida y para sombras use marrones, en una nueva capa añadí más colores dándole forma por completo al rostro y luego comencé a mezclarlos para dejar una textura suave, luego agregue colores base en el cabello, cuernos y el vestuario, en su mano pinte texturas de rocas que pude ver en la carta, lo hice con tonos un poco mas oscuros que el original.

I made the sketch and chose the tones for the skin, at first I placed a fairly pale pink skin tone and for shadows I used browns, in a new layer I added more colors giving full shape to the face and then I began to mix them to leave a smooth texture, then I added base colors in the hair, horns and costume, in her hand I painted rock textures that I could see on the card, I did it with a little darker tones than the original.

Para este punto decidí pintar el fondo antes de olvidar la idea que tenia de añadir un color de fondo similar al de la carta original, aunque no lo crean a veces se me ocurren cosas y en segundos las olvido, entonces jugué con diferentes tonos de rojo y pinceles planos, luego me di cuenta que mi personaje estaba muy pálido y no combinaba bien con el fondo, asi que le agregue un poco mas de color a la piel dándole una tonalidad mas cálida y oscura, empecé a detallar la ropa y el cabello usando luces y sombras y luego quise añadir mas color en el rostro y cambiar el color de los labios, tambien añadí iluminaciones en ciertas partes del rostro que quería resaltar, pinte diferentes líneas de color cian y algunos puntos en la parte inferior para dar ese efecto “mágico” finalice mi dibujo editando la imagen para darle mayor contraste y mejorar el color.

For this point I decided to paint the background before forgetting the idea I had of adding a background color similar to the original card, believe it or not sometimes I think of things and in seconds I forget them, so I played with different shades of red and flat brushes, then I realized that my character was very pale and did not combine well with the background, so I added a little more color to the skin giving it a warmer and darker tone, I started to detail the clothes and hair using lights and shadows and then I wanted to add more color to the face and change the color of the lips, I also added lights in certain parts of the face that I wanted to highlight, I painted different lines of cyan color and some dots in the lower part to give that “magic” effect, I finished my drawing editing the image to give it more contrast and improve the color.
