Oso Brew Co is a Madrid-based brewery with a British soul. It was founded in 2018 by David Ross and Patrick Tuck. The two met during their Erasmus program in Madrid several years earlier. From the fruit of their friendship and shared passion for beer, Osos Brew Co was born, which has carved out a niche for itself in the difficult world of craft beer. If you're in Madrid, I recommend visiting their brewpub, "La Osita," located on the legendary La Cava Baja street. Or visit their brewery, "La Factory," in Alcobendas. You can taste their beers in both places.
The beer I'm showing you today is a juicy DIPA (Double India Pale Ale) with an 8.5% alcohol content, which isn't noticeable at all. The oats and lactose in the beer contribute to this. When these ingredients appear, the beer is called Oat Cream; they soften the drink, giving it creaminess, density, and a smooth finish.
Although it doesn't have much bitterness, this beer has 30 grams of Strata and Mosaic per liter. A real beast. The tropical flavor is undoubtedly the predominant flavor.
In short, a very easy-drinking DIPA with a modern twist.
Interestingly, I haven't seen such a dense and persistent head in a while.
