Hype de SOMA (Esp- Eng)

Una nueva cerveza de SOMA. En esta ocasión es una DIPA (Doble India Pale Ale) de 8º de alcohol y con único lúpulo, el Citra.
Como siempre que hablo de SOMA, nos encontramos ante una cerveza muy turbia y densa, con marcado carácter frutal, sobre todo con matices cítricos y mango, que enmascara perfectamente el alcohol. Muy fácil de beber y realmente sabrosa.
Muy parecidas siempre todas las cervezas SOMA entre sí. Pero la verdad es que bordan el estilo. Y en esta ocasión les ha quedado perfecta. Probablemente la mejor DIPA que haya probado suya.

Como curiosidad decir que el lúpulo que lleva en su elaboración, está todavía verde y ha sido recién recolectado, es lo que se denomina "Harvest". Esto aporta un increíble aroma y frescura a la cerveza, además de una potencia de sabor deliciosa. Obviamente esto solo se puede hacer en los momentos de recolección del lúpulo.

As always when I talk about SOMA, we're looking at a very cloudy and dense beer, with a marked fruity character, especially with hints of citrus and mango, which perfectly masks the alcohol. Very easy to drink and truly flavorful.
All SOMA beers are always very similar to each other. But the truth is that they nail the style. And this time it was perfect. Probably the best DIPA I've ever had from them.

As a curiosity, the hops used in this brew are still green and have been freshly picked; they're what's called "Harvest." This gives the beer an incredible aroma and freshness, as well as a deliciously powerful flavor. Obviously, this can only be done during the hop harvest.
