The Good, The Chewy, and The Playful: Our Tree House SPC Experience in a Nutshell
Last Valentine’s Day, after Odyne’s class at the learning center, we ate at Tree House SPC. We’d discovered the place almost by accident earlier that week while searching for lunch options, as we no longer had time to prepare meals. After trying their chocolate and tea first, April and I agreed we’d just have lunch there.
We chose the restaurant mainly because of its small play area for kids. That day, they were running a promo: ordering from the special menu included a 1-hour free play pass for children. I booked a slot immediately to avoid potential crowds, anticipating it might get busy.
We arrived around 11:10 AM. No one else was dining yet, and I informed the staff we’d reserved for 11:15. They began preparing our food while we let our little one play in the clean, spacious area. Odyne dove into the toys, making a bit of a mess, then climbed the small ladder and slid down repeatedly. As a parent we liked that there's a special place for kids to play as sometimes when we go to some restaurants making our child entertained is quite a challenge.
By 11:30, part of our order arrived. The staff politely asked to take our photo, which we happily agreed to.

Our meal included burgers, fries, and two pasta dishes—one Alfredo and one lasagna. Hungry from the morning, I only managed to snap photos of the lasagna, burgers, and fries. Both pastas tasted great, especially with the toasted bread on the side. I preferred the lasagna (meaty and satisfying—note: I hadn’t yet been diagnosed with high cholesterol!) and wished I’d ordered two portions instead of mixing sauces.
The burgers were disappointing—the buns were over-toasted and hard to chew. While the patties were decent, the texture made us leave some uneaten.
Overall, though, it was a pleasant experience. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, and Odyne happily played for nearly an hour.
