CZ_Binance’s Warning: How Quick Wins Destroy Crypto Dreams

The crypto space is like the Gemini Paradox in Saint Seiya: there are times when we experience joy in getting amazing gains, and on the other hand, we experience failure due to projects that never fully materialize. Many people jump on the bandwagon with the promise of achieving financial freedom easily, as people like you and I have seen others attempt. But to be honest, not everyone has a great story to share, and the quote from CZ_Binance is a reminder of that

He shared that many people spend too much money chasing small, quick gains. Almost all of us are guilty of this, especially when we see projects booming overnight, NFT games being marketed as game-changers, etc. Meme coins were a huge thing last year, and in a blog post by CoinDesk, it was reported that around $500 million was lost to rug pulls and scams.

The most recent example I’m aware of is the viral internet celebrity Hawk Tuah Girl scamming everyone with her meme coin.

The allure of potential earnings is intoxicating, as a meme coin can increase its value tremendously over a short period. Influencers also play a major role here, as they share their trading wins in their content. If I were to compare the experience, it’s like fireworks in the sky: the profits are the beautiful sparks you see for a few seconds, but afterward, they fade into nothing.

This mindset becomes a casino mentality. Without proper knowledge, everyone can jump in immediately—and with that, they often end up scammed. Some networkers I know have already adopted this mindset: “Be first, always, and let the latecomers suffer the consequences.”

Being vigilant and mindful are essential qualities in this playing field.

Now, relating this to my experience with Hive, some people have been on this blockchain for quite some time. Patience really matters. Though I see the price dropping, some are seizing this opportunity to grow even more and increase their Hive Power, since they know it’s a long-term game. As for me, since I just returned from a hiatus from Hive, I see this as another opportunity to grow, as I work on rebuilding my earnings and exploring other coins on this platform.

Building something slowly takes time and patience, but who knows?Maybe this is the right way to navigate the crypto space.
