A day at Marian Orchard chapel ; a five hectare pilgrimage park.
It was last March when my sister in law asked if I wanted to go with them to church. Nope, not the one here in the neighborhood but at Marian Orchard chapel.
Brief overview as google says, it was a Catholic-themed pilgrimage park inspired by European gardens.
We chose to go here as it was the nearest in our place and with the current hike on gasoline.
It was only past nine in the morning yet look how hot the sun rays were 🤣. Thus, the good thing if I am with the inlaws is they help me in taking care of Caleb. Literally like carrying the chubby little man of mine.
The entrance.
As it was a huge garden to maintain there was an entrance fee of $1 as I could remember.
Masss hasn't started yet and while SIL is settling our payments, here is my son tailing his cousin.
Yes, he climbed those stairs to go up there and of course I was assisting him. This is at the left side of the entrance.
Both side are the thanksgiving hall;
here the close view.
When you go straight in between that leads to this.
An area specifically for Mama Mary.
There are still wonderful views nearby but I wasn't able to take photos because Caleb kept on running around. His safety is my priority.
After paying we went inside and google was right.
The architecture and the vibes doesn't look like I'm in the Philippines, LOL. Not only that but it was too wide to explore and you need stamina. It would be great to roam around here with a full stomach and early in the morning.
Meanwhile, this is the chapel where the mass is held. We dropped for a while for mass offerings.
But before it was here.
Sadly, I wasn't able to go here because it was too hot and I was thinking of Caleb. He might get sick.
Thus, we had a great time walking around.
It was so refreshing to go there. You can fulfill the Sunday mass and at the same time have a breath of fresh air.
Some chose to stay under the tree while the mass was going on. Listening while their kids run around.
I was standing, rocking my son to sleep after he cried from being tired. Yeah after running around.
Till next time and update.
