Un rato de despejar la mente en el trabajo observando la hermosa playa [Esp/Eng]

Hola, ¿qué tal, amigos, cómo están? Espero todos estén muy bien; por aquí todo muy bien. Gracias a Dios, pensando que, la verdad, los días pasan muy rápido, ya hoy casualmente se cumplen 8 días exactos de aquella tragedia, y todavía se puede observar todo el desastre, así como también la multitud de muertes que hubo, cosa que a todos nos ha tenido muy tristes, incluso hasta el clima como que lo supera, porque estos días ha habido atardeceres supertristes.

Hello, how are you all, friends? I hope you’re all doing very well; everything’s fine here. Thank God. To be honest, the days are flying by; as it happens, today marks exactly eight days since that tragedy, and you can still see the full extent of the devastation, as well as the sheer number of deaths that occurred – something that has left us all feeling very sad. Even the weather seems to reflect this, as the sunsets have been incredibly sombre these past few days.

Saben que, por lo menos para acá, para la isla de Margarita, ha estado lloviendo en varias ocasiones. Tal vez no es una lluvia tan fuerte, pero sí es una lluvia que refresca por lo menos el ambiente y es más que todas las mañanas, por lo que he notado, y esta lluvia a veces viene. Acompañada también de pequeños cortes de luz, aprovecho también para mencionar que yo estoy volviendo a mi trabajo, ya que me encontraba de vacaciones, y volví a mi puesto principal, el cual me encanta mucho porque tengo una hermosa vista en la playa y puedo relajarme mientras trabajo.

You know that, at least round here on Margarita Island, it’s been raining on several occasions. It might not be a particularly heavy downpour, but it does at least cool the air down, and it happens almost every morning, from what I’ve noticed, and this rain does come from time to time. It’s also accompanied by brief power cuts. I’d also like to mention that I’m back at work, having been on holiday, and I’ve returned to my main job, which I absolutely love because I have a lovely view of the beach and can relax whilst I work.

Yo, la verdad, es que aproveché uno de esos pequeños cortes de luz para ir un rato a ver la playa, por el hecho de que tenía mucho rato sin hacerlo y, debido a los días que han estado lluviosos, la playa se veía un poco temerosa, la verdad, y dije, ¿por qué no salir y tomar una foto? Que pudieran observar el clima y aun así. La playa se veía bastante hermosa. Y pude capturar hermosas fotos cuando las olas golpeaban las piedras del muelle, así que dije, ¿por qué no ir a alegrarlos con unas hermosas fotos de nuestras playas de Margarita? Específicamente, Playa El Humo.

To be honest, I took advantage of one of those little power cuts to pop down to the beach for a bit, simply because it had been ages since I’d last been there and, given the rainy weather we’ve been having, the beach looked a bit daunting, to be honest, so I thought, why not go out and take a photo? So they could see what the weather was like, even so. The beach looked quite beautiful. And I managed to take some lovely photos of the waves crashing against the rocks on the jetty, so I thought, why not cheer everyone up with some lovely photos of our beaches on Margarita? Specifically, El Humo Beach.
