안녕하세요, 요즘 더 시간에 치어 사는 유쓰미 Hive account@y-o-u-t-h-m-e 입니다. ^^;;

이따금씩,
하루 24시간을 생존/생활을 위한 돈벌이, 노동을 위한 용도가 아닌,
온전히 내가 하고 싶은 것들을 하고 살 수 있는 환경이 주어진다면,
나는 어떻게 살까? 어떻게 살고 싶을까? 하는 생각이 듭니다.

여러가지 아이디어들이 머리 속을 스쳐지나갔습니다.
경제적 자유라는 꿈을 갖고
현재의 시간과 에너지를 갈아넣고(?) 있는 유쓰미..
부디 다음 세대는 저처럼 고생하지 않았으면.. 하는 바램에,
누가 시키지 않아도 사서 하는 고생,
담담하게 받아들이고, 열일하며 살고 있습니다. ^^;

오늘 올려드리는 곡은,
오랜 시간동안 세월을 타지 않고,
언제 들어도 그 곡의 멜로디와 가사에
온전하게 젖어들게 되는 곡입니다.

James Joseph Croce (/ˈkroʊtʃi/; January 10, 1943 – September 20, 1973) was an American folk and rock singer-songwriter. Between 1966 and 1973, Croce released five studio albums and numerous singles.

His first two albums were commercially unsuccessful, failing to chart or produce any hit singles. During this period, Croce took a series of odd jobs to pay bills while he continued to write, record, and perform concerts. After forming a partnership with songwriter and guitarist Maury Muehleisen, his fortunes turned in the early 1970s. His breakthrough came in 1972; his third album You Don't Mess Around with Jim produced three charting singles, including "Time in a Bottle", which reached No. 1 after his death. The follow-up album, Life and Times contained the song "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown", which was the only No. 1 hit he had during his lifetime.

The day before the lead single to his fifth album, I Got a Name, was released, Croce, along with five others, were killed in a plane crash, at the height of his popularity. Croce's music continued to chart throughout the 1970s following his death. His wife, Ingrid Croce, was his early songwriting partner and she continued to write and record after his death, and his son A. J. Croce himself became a singer-songwriter in the 1990s.

젊은 나이에 비행기 사고로 목숨을 잃은 짐 크로치..
젊고 재능있는 뮤지션들이 불의의 사고로 죽은 경우가 꽤 많네요. :/
(컨트리 가수 존 덴버도 비행기 사고로 목숨을 잃었습니다 ㅠ)

비록 그는 지금 우리 곁에 없지만,
그의 감성적인 음악만큼은 앞으로도 오래도록
우리의 귀와 마음을 울리지 않을까 싶습니다.
