Other Niche Communities Curation Report #380

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 380th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Garden update| First eggplant harvest, checking and replanting my new seedlings.

It's an exciting day today for me but my kids are the most excited. For so long finally, we were able to harvest our fruit of labour.

If you follow my hive garden blogs you will know what my eggplant has been through before we make it this day. It almost ends up months ago when my dad sprayed it with too much detergent as an insect repellent and forget to rinse it with water after and last month we are hit by the typhoon and made almost all of my plants lay down especially my eggplant that has been covered by the debris.

Hablar alto ¡Dios no grites![Speak up God don't shout!]

It happens to me a lot with my wife on many occasions she raises her voice very high and it is not that she is shouting at this but I think she gets so excited when she talks that without realizing it she raises her voice and it seems like she is shouting but it is not like that.

An Owl is watching us

We were cutting some bamboo trees for the duck coops we were making. We were looking for the matured bamboo tree to cut down. Then my nephew saw an owl move on the bamboo branch. He shouted "look there's an owl". We wondered why there is an owl there. And it was the first time that we saw an owl during daytime. So I immediately get my camera and took some pictures of it.

Spring rolls wrapper from scratch [ENG/ESP]

Hello, bees!!! Today's recipe I've been wanting to learn years ago, I didn't even know it was all-purpose flour, I saw it in a Chinese movie and I assumed it was always done with rice flour 😅 so when I learned the recipe I really wanted to try it. It looked so cool in the movie, that woman moved a funny dough on her hand, snapped it to the pan, and the residue made a slim film thin as paper, that cooks very wast and can be used as a wrapper, so interesting to watch. I did not become that skilled to make it look that cool but I still made it, so here is the process.

I'm taking a short break!

First of all, I must admit it: I haven't been prioritizing my sleep as I should, and the neglect has taken its toll on me. These past two weeks were incredibly hectic, filled with unexpected events, both happy and sad, and everything in between. They required 100% of my presence and strength. On top of that, I had to add another 100% to remain functional in the day-to-day aspects of life: communicating with my loved ones meaningfully and on a regular basis, eating, getting my cardio done, taking care of the house, working, writing, expressing through art... I managed to juggle everything but sleep. Hmm. I know a few who are not going to be very happy about that.

Kisses from the Sun

I love walking. Long walks help me clear my mind, appreciate nature, and see beauty in small things. It's also the form of exercise I can handle for now. Oh, I'm not hurt or anything...I'm just too lazy to start a vigorous physical routine. And with our local playground closed again, the kids also need an outlet to pour their energy into. So we do morning walks at least 4 times a week.

(ESP/ENG) Ladies of Hive Community Contest #67

So much so that I became an Internet user with my computer..... I needed more information about it. I didn't know that news, so I decided to investigate a little more...... I have to take advantage of the magic of communications, by internet, even if I can't check them. And this is what I got:

Today I wrapped a strawberry sago with a banana leaf into a triangle shape

Yesterday I told you how to make a leaf wall decoration with some color paper. I haven't cooked for a long time these days. Today I came back with a delicious snack recipe. The snack I made today was a snack wrapped in Sago using banana leaf. I also put some fruit in the middle of the sago. The fruit I used today was strawberry. Now is the time to buy strawberries easily in the state where I live. But this year, strawberries are very expensive. Today I bought 5 starwberries. It costs about $ 0.8. About a month ago, I tried this triangular snack made from Sago using a banana leaf. At the time, I was using ripe mango instead of strawberry. I learned from my mother how to make this snack wrapped in banana leaf using sago. This is easy to make and does not require a lot of ingredients. Let me first tell you about the ingredients needed to make this. Let's get started!

The real face of a market

I have been going to show you these market-related pictures of mine for a long time. Because they are unique and beyond strange.

They are of a market, but a market without people. A market that does not work. On a day when it doesn't work. On its day off.

¿Por qué no hablé ese día? [ESP-ENG]

Maybe it could have been different if I hadn't kept quiet. Maybe I could have told you that I loved you and that I didn't care if you married someone else. The words and my tears were suspended, lost in time. I was left alone without knowing your feelings. Today it's not worth looking at the past and asking.
