Hello my loving Asean Hive community,

Yesterday I told you how to make a leaf wall decoration with some color paper. I haven't cooked for a long time these days. Today I came back with a delicious snack recipe. The snack I made today was a snack wrapped in Sago using banana leaf. I also put some fruit in the middle of the sago. The fruit I used today was strawberry. Now is the time to buy strawberries easily in the state where I live. But this year, strawberries are very expensive. Today I bought 5 starwberries. It costs about $ 0.8. About a month ago, I tried this triangular snack made from Sago using a banana leaf. At the time, I was using ripe mango instead of strawberry. I learned from my mother how to make this snack wrapped in banana leaf using sago. This is easy to make and does not require a lot of ingredients. Let me first tell you about the ingredients needed to make this. Let's get started!

Ingredients-

• Sago
• banana leaf
• sugar
• strawberry
• yarn

Step-1

First, I thoroughly washed the sago with water. Then I soaked all those sago in water for about an hour.

Step-2

Then I took all the sago out of the water and put it in a bowl. I added 2 tablespoons of sugar to the saga and mixed it all together. Mix everything together to get the image shown above.

Step-3

I washed the strawberries thoroughly with water. Then I removed the leaves and cut the strawberries into small pieces with a knife. I put all those little strawberry cubes in a small bowl.

Step-4

The banana leaf I picked from a banana plant my father planted. The banana leaf was bigger than I needed, so I cut it into small pieces as needed. I boiled it all in water for 15 minutes. After cooking for about 15 minutes, I put the banana leaves on a plate.

Now I'm ready to do the triangle shape saga with strawberry.

Step-5

img_20220128_145315.jpg

img_20220128_145327.jpg

First, I folded the banana leaf into a triangle. I put some sago in there.

Step-6

img_20220128_145343.jpg

img_20220128_145348.jpg

I added some strawberries and I added the sago again.

Step-7

img_20220128_145539.jpg

img_20220128_145646.jpg

Then I folded the remaining banana leaves and tied them with yarn. Now I have a triangular sago package wrapped in banana leaf.

I make different sizes this way.

Step-8

I boiled it all in boiling water for 10 minutes. When you tie yarn you need to tie it carefully. This is because strawberries tend to come out when cooked. After cooking for 10 minutes, I put them in a bowl.

Now I have a lot of sago triangles packs that contains strawberries in the middle. I first cut the yarn with scissors to eat the sago containing those strawberries. Then, when I removed off the banana leaf, I got the sago and strawberry fragrance first. After cooked, the strawberry turns into a jam. You can use any fruit you like instead of strawberry. I paired this triangle sago with coconut fries. It's easy to make and tastes great. If you like it, you can easily try it at home. Thank you. 🍇
