Dragonflies are agile, fast-flying insects known for their beautiful colors and unique appearance. With two pairs of strong, transparent wings and elongated bodies, they’re a common sight around ponds, rivers, and wetlands, where they hunt other insects like mosquitoes and flies. Dragonflies are also known for their excellent vision, with large compound eyes that give them nearly 360-degree sight.

They go through an aquatic larval stage, where they live underwater as nymphs, and only emerge as adults after completing their metamorphosis. Dragonflies are often seen as symbols of transformation, adaptability, and self-realization in various cultures.
