Phuket Sunset

After exploring the beautiful old streets of Phuket island for a day, I returned to my friends on the beach in the late afternoon.

Being exposed to the scorching sun made me feel so embarrassed because my skin was sunburned and peeling. As she had seen me suffer from this, an elderly Thai lady offered me to soothe the burned area with fresh aloe vera juice. To be honest, I was not sure about the effectiveness of this remedy, but the price she asked was quite reasonable. What's more, she began to rub the fresh aloe vera extract into my back, and I almost jumped in delight from the pain that went away.

Though I was exhausted after a long day, the view of the sunset sky was so beautiful that I forgot all about my tiredness and took some photos of the lovely scene.
