Don Sueño no quiere dar falsas esperanzas, por eso ha decidido retirarse. Algunos han manifestado su inconformidad con esta decisión tan inesperada, pero otros se han sentido tan felices que han decidido organizar una gran fiesta a la que todos, sin excepción, estarían invitados.

Llegó el Amor con un rostro tan severo que asustaba; en su larga vida, nunca había sufrido una racha tan mala. También asistió el Deseo, pero se preguntó: «¿Para qué provocar, si ya nada importaba?». Y qué decir de la Envidia, la Empatía y Don Carisma: parecían vagabundos que observaban extrañados a todos, pero sin rechistar.

Así, poco a poco, fueron llegando los invitados, cada uno más confundido que el anterior y con tan pocas ganas de sonreír que aquello parecía más un velorio. Incluso la Euforia, que siempre encontraba la forma de hacer una tormenta en un vaso de agua, permanecía en silencio, aunque ella había estado de acuerdo con el retiro de Don Sueño, alegando que todos necesitamos un descanso después de tanto tiempo trabajando sin pausa.

Con los años, reinó la anarquía, porque nadie puede sobrevivir en un mundo sin metas, donde cada proyecto supone un reto que promueve la adaptabilidad ante cualquier situación, por muy difícil que resulte. Después de todo, somos seres con grandes expectativas en un mundo de sueños.

Mr. Sleep does not want to give false hope, which is why he has decided to retire. Some have expressed their dissatisfaction with this unexpected decision, but others have been so happy that they decided to organize a grand party to which everyone, without exception, would be invited.

Love arrived with a face so stern it was frightening; in his long life, he had never suffered such a bad streak. Desire also attended, but he wondered: "Why provoke, if nothing mattered anymore?" Over the years, anarchy reigned because no one can survive in a world without goals, where every project presents a challenge that promotes adaptability in any situation, no matter how difficult it may be. After all, we are beings with great expectations in a world of dreams.
