The princess is sad

and in her strange agony,

she cries for the return

of a forbidden life.

She looks so beautiful

with her rose-like lips,

though the anguish is great

of the life that surfaces.

She misses so sweetly

that thieving prince,

who, stealing her kisses,

left and abandoned her.

He took her sanity,

he took in excess

every forbidden dream,

every laugh and desire.

The princess longs for him

and does not know that he

now craves other lips

with no wish to return.

He does not care if she suffers,

nor if she dies in silence.

The princess is sad,

yearning for his kisses.

Until he comes back

with his sweet sins,

the princess waits

for one who has forgotten her.

How sad this story,

where just any prince

forgets the one who suffers,

the one who always waits.

La princesa está triste

y en su extraña agonía

clama por el regreso

de una vida prohibida.

Se le ve tan hermosa

con su boca de rosa,

aunque es grande la angustia

de la vida que aflora.

Añora tan dulcemente

a ese príncipe ladrón,

que, robando sus besos,

se marchó y la dejó.

Se llevó su cordura,

se llevó con exceso

cada sueño prohibido,

cada risa y anhelo.

La princesa lo añora

y no sabe que él

ahora clama otros labios

sin querer volver.

No le importa que sufra,

La princesa está triste,
