Consistency

This week I've only been able to go to the gym twice. One day I trained quads, and the other day back and biceps. It's not the pace I usually like to keep, but honestly, these past few weeks have been quite different for me.

I've been running around, trying to keep up with work, my responsibilities, and everything else I have going on. But I've also been dealing with a lot on an emotional level. Some things have happened that affected me more than I expected, and to be honest, they left me feeling a bit fragile emotionally. Sometimes you keep going because you have to, but that doesn't mean everything is alright inside.

Today is Friday, and I'm writing this hoping to find some stability again. Tomorrow I plan to train glutes, and on Sunday I'm going for a run with my running club. I don't know if it will be my best week of training, but I want to keep moving. Because if there's one thing I've learned this year, it's that it's not always about performing at your best; sometimes it's simply about not giving up.

Esta semana solo he podido ir al gimnasio dos veces. Un día entrené cuádriceps y el otro espalda y bíceps. No es el ritmo que normalmente me gusta llevar, pero honestamente estas últimas semanas han sido bastante diferentes para mí.

He estado de aquí para allá, tratando de cumplir con el trabajo, mis responsabilidades y todo lo que tengo en marcha. Pero también he estado lidiando con muchas cosas a nivel emocional. Han sucedido situaciones que me afectaron más de lo que esperaba y, siendo sincera, me dejaron un poco frágil sentimentalmente. A veces uno sigue adelante porque tiene que hacerlo, pero eso no significa que por dentro todo esté en orden.

Hoy es viernes y estoy escribiendo esto con la intención de volver a encontrar algo de estabilidad. Mañana planeo entrenar glúteos y el domingo salir a correr con mi club de running. No sé si será mi mejor semana de entrenamiento, pero quiero seguir moviéndome. Porque si algo he aprendido este año es que no siempre se trata de rendir al máximo; a veces se trata simplemente de no rendirse
