Vaya fin de semana deportivo estamos teniendo, y aún queda mucho por ver. Seguro estos días serán de esos que permanecen en la memoria colectiva de los más fanáticos al deporte, ya que se ha demostrado que el tiempo da revanchas y el destino termina ajustando cuentas, validando que lo visto no solo fueron una serie de resultados, es la paciencia finalmente recompensada.

Es una vida entera señores, estamos hablando de medio siglo, para una franquicia con uno de los fandom más grande de este deporte. Cómo olvidar esa final que se le escapó a Latrell Sprewell, que no pudo contar con el apoyo de Patrick Ewing por lesión por allá en 1999, fue muy duro. Por eso ver a los Knicks volver a la cima no es simplemente ganar un trofeo, es cerrar uma herida historica y saldar una deuda de muchos años con los fanáticos.

This is a lesson for the young driver that more than winning, races must be finished.

La gloria de la victoria se ha hecho presente también en el mundial de fútbol de la FIFA. Me encanta el deporte por la emoción que reside en la sorpresa. Ver las victorias de selecciones como la de Estados Unidos por goleada ante Paraguay, la selección "defensivamente" más fuerte de sudamérica. Australia sufrir contra los embates de una poderosa Turquía y terminar ganando 2 por 0; son el recordatorio perfecto de que el ranking y favoritismos son solo números y estadísticas, la victoria se logra también con el corazón, táctica y garra.

When predictions are broken

The glory of victory has also made an appearance in the FIFA World Cup. I love sports because of the emotion that resides in surprises. Seeing the victories of national teams like the United States by a blowout against Paraguay, the defensively strongest team in South America; Australia suffering against the onslaught of a powerful Turkey and ending up winning 2 to 0; they are the perfect reminder that rankings and favoritism are just numbers and statistics, victory is also achieved with heart, tactics, and grit.
