The wisdom and magic of nature. 🌿🌷 (EN-ES)
The best way to celebrate a special day is by remembering what is special within us and where it comes from, and therefore, where we all come from, and how this can give us the wisdom we seek and even heal us in body and soul. Nature is amazing, and I always say so.

Celebrating life, another year of life, is also a celebration of the wisdom gained from life’s experiences, and it is nature itself that provides the greatest source of life and knowledge. That is why, today, on a special day for me, I want to talk about what amazes me in the world: nature, which astounds us with its beauty, a beauty that people sometimes fail to see or overlook, but also because nature is powerful, wise and a great teacher.
It teaches us the cycles of life and where everything comes from, for nature springs from the very same creative source, the infinite light that has created everything, and so it is a reflection of that light; therein lie all the profound answers that humankind can seek. Being in closer contact with nature has not only brought me healing and peace of mind, but in many cases has also transformed me physically.

I even remember when, many years ago, a person came into my life and back into my family’s life, someone who taught me so much about plants, such as how to prune them properly, how to graft them, and how to maintain a thriving and ever-changing garden, full of flowers and brimming with energy. He was a professional gardener; he possessed a wisdom that I believe came from nature itself. He loved plants, trees, flowers and animals, and I remember that he adored eating fruit. He always used to tell me that if a bird, a hen, for example, wouldn’t eat a particular food, then it was best for a human not to eat it either; and in that context, he was referring in particular to soya, which is often genetically modified.
He loved all things natural and knew how to care for them; I learnt a great deal from him. He lent me a book on medicinal herbs, thereby teaching me the benefits of many plants. I was familiar with some of them, but not such a wide variety. He taught me that nature itself holds the key to healing, and that many medicines created by science are often derived from plants, but with chemicals added. He taught me to love that aspect of nature, which is healthier and embodies complete wisdom.

In today’s world, where so many things happen, strange things, where people have changed and where I often feel like a bit of an oddball, I always say that what never ceases to amaze me is nature; it has that power. It’s even at the very heart of mathematics, with its fractals, to give just one example.
It amazes me with its colours, with the energy that floods through me, with the softness of the sea foam, the caress of the leaves on the trees, the scent of the flowers, the dampness of the earth when I walk barefoot upon it, with the sounds of the animals and the tenderness of my cats. All of this is nature, and so are we, it’s just that sometimes we forget it; indeed, many people don’t even respect it, yet it is primordial.
How much we could learn from this wonder, we just need to learn to listen to it, because it speaks to us at every turn and is a great healer for the mind and soul; it can relieve stress, relax us and help us in every way. Its energy is unlike anything else, and even simply gazing at the views it offers us is food for the spirit.

She frees us from negative energy and fills us with the very best energy there is; all we need to do is touch her, embrace her, love her and, above all, get to know her; in doing so, we learn how she expresses herself. A very clear example I can give is this: a few days ago, I walked for almost four hours in this place, of which I’ve brought you some photos, the botanical garden on the outskirts of the city. I didn’t feel the slightest bit of exhaustion; on the contrary, I felt full of energy and vitality, and my mind felt clear. When I walk for the same amount of time in the city, wherever that may be, I arrive home feeling tired, as if my surroundings had drained my energy. Nature is amazing, and of that I have not the slightest doubt.
On this day, as I celebrate another year, I give thanks to nature for everything it has given me. Thank you for joining me today; I send you my warmest regards. See you soon.
