A journey through time, a walk among buildings, trees, and peace. 🍂

Winter has been difficult for walking due to the rain, which, although it has not been heavy nor caused problems such as flooding in my city, has prevented me from exploring the city's hidden corners after the Christmas and New Year holidays, as it has in many towns and surrounding areas.

But whenever I have had the opportunity, and whenever I have it, I like to visit places, discover details, and walk down new streets. They say that this not only helps physically, but I think above all mentally. Going and visiting new places activates the brain, keeps it active, it's like traveling and traveling. Besides, I think it gladdens the heart and soul. Being surprised by simple things makes life worthwhile.

Both rain and autumn often evoke melancholy, but in my case they are a source of inspiration. It wasn't raining that day, but it was a little cloudy. Fortunately, once I got off the bus, the clouds cleared and I could see that beautiful neighborhood in the sunlight with its gleaming buildings. It wasn't raining, but it was still autumn, and the color of the leaves made the walk even more beautiful. In addition, many of them were on the ground, which is not usually seen in the city, but in this neighborhood it is.

It is one of the places in the city with the most trees on the streets, or at least I haven't found another one with so many trees. It is a quiet neighborhood for walking and exploring, although there are some hills to climb, but they are not too steep.

I walked at a time of day when there were few people on the street. I always like to go out at lunchtime and enjoy eating wherever I walk. I think that way, lunches are always innovative, out of the routine, and if they are in the middle of nature, even better. What could be better than eating something simple but surrounded by trees, flowers, or the sea... I think there is nothing better. That's what enjoying the small, big things in life is all about. And even more so if it's accompanied by a walk or exploration of a new place. Now I can do it.

Every corner revealed new and beautiful buildings. It's a beautiful neighborhood, one of the most beautiful in the city, called El Limonar. I love the tranquility, the cleanliness, the order, and it reminds me a lot of neighborhoods in Argentina, especially because of the silence and the number of trees.

Many of the facades I saw were of housing developments, villas, and buildings, but very different from those found in the city center. There were also huge houses that looked like mansions. But the detail of all this is in how well maintained everything is and the number of gardens and greenery everywhere. This makes the walk pleasant and beautiful, even though it is not in the middle of nature. It was a leisurely, relaxed walk, with no rush, where I could explore every little street and see what was there.

With so many trees, there is a lot of shade, and although I have never visited this neighborhood in the middle of summer, I imagine it must be very cool, and a walk there at that time of year must be great for escaping the heat.

I tried to explore every corner of this neighborhood, especially in the upper north and west areas, where there are kindergartens, schools, a health center, hotels, and huge houses surrounded by gardens, which they call villas here. The sun was shining, and I was able to enjoy my walk without feeling cold at all. The weather was spectacular, but when the sun shines on your face, it's the best thing there is.

Despite it being fall, there were also many green trees, which don't lose their leaves, and flowering bushes, which made the streets and the walk more picturesque. Of course, I always carry my water bottle with me when I explore places that are far away.

One of the streets reminded me of the country where I was born, and it's no surprise that this neighborhood resembles many of the ones where I used to live. My friend here told me that Argentina was conquered by Andalusians, which explains the resemblance, and she's right.

I think the special touch of this walk was the trees with their autumn colors and the great peace and tranquility as I walked through the streets. Being able to look in all directions and feel at ease, as well as, of course, taking pictures of everything I saw.

Thank you very much for joining me today on this Wednesday walk. I send you my best regards. See you soon.
