MY SPECIAL CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES ❤️
Children are highly inquisitive. They want to discover, they want to understand why things are the way they are. This inquisitive nature of theirs causes them to do crazy things. In my childish quest for understanding, I did so many things I am not proud of at this stage, some I certainly cannot mention here😀. I also did some crazy things that are simply out of my innocency as a child, things I definitely cannot do at this stage of my life. With respect to the week's prompt, I will be shearing some of this funny childhood memories with us. Just hang on as we journey through my past together.
DANCING AT A BIRTHDAY PARTY Coming from a highly religious family, my upbringing was void of the worldly things (as my parents will call them😀). I didn't go to parties neither did I listen to what my parents referred to as worldly music. My life and that of my siblings revolved around home, school and church. Having been informed about the birthday party of the Charismatic coordinator's child, my Mom asked that we go for the party. Since we hardly have such opportunity, I and my younger sister happily accepted to go. It was the first of its kind for us, and we were happy to be there. The most interesting thing about the party was the fact that we were able to listen to worldly music without being beaten severely for that. After about an hour of being in the party, there was a call for dancing competition. Getting to hear that, I was eager to be part of every bit of it. I simply wanted to dance, and I actually thought I could do it so well. My younger sister never thought it was a good idea, but I was stubborn enough not to allow her hinder me, I simply wanted to dance. I stepped on to the stage and was ready to do what I thought I could do best. Behold, it was a flop, I completely disgraced myself😔. The other kids including my sister laughed at me as they cannot just help it. From that point to the end of the party, I hid my face in shame. It is a day I will never forget😀.

MY FIRST MUSIC COMPETITION I have always been a music lover right from my very early stage. That explains why I made my first composition at the age of eight. It wasn't so bad for a child of my age, but it was bad. I was not intending to compose a comic song, but it turned out as one. Everyone who listened to that song practically laughed out their lungs. Yes, it was that bad. But as tender as I was, I never thought anything was wrong with the song. In fact, I sang it to everyone with all confidence😄. Originally, that powerful comic song of mine was composed in my local language (Igbo), but for the sake of proper understanding I will be giving us the English translation. "With broom we shall sweep away all the sin in this world". Yes, that's the lyrics, "with broom we shall sweep away all the sin in this world"😅. Imagine this amazing lyrics going along side a subtle and simple tune. Since I was convinced that both the lyrics and tune were powerful, I never understood why those I sang to laughed at me till I got a bit older. Getting older, I was able to realise that I actually made people laugh by singing that song. I also realised that the song was more comic than gospel😀. Thank God for maturity.
THROWING A WHOLE BASKET OF ORANGE TO THE BUSH At the earliest stage of my life, I was with my fathers younger sister (my late aunty) who was a civil servant in the village. On one occasion, a friend of mine visited me. Getting to see our orange tree, he professed how much he loved orange and requested for some. On hearing that, I decided to get some for him from the tree. In my attempt to plug some orange for my friend, I ended up plugging a full basket of orange. After gathering the orange, we were able to eat only few out of the oranges. Thinking of what my late aunty will do once she gets to know about the basket of orange, I decided to dispose the remaining oranges. Even though my aunty will never beat me for any reason, I just didn't want to be scolded at. Weeks after, my late aunty got to discover the oranges under the plantain tree where I disposed them. She asked me, and I just couldn't deny. She simply told me how much an orange of that amount will cost, and how she would have added a little money to it for my school fee. Poor me, I was just a six years old child who bearly understand his right from his left. I obviously didn't know what I was doing. On getting to hear my late aunty's sermon, I busted out in tears. I cried so bad that the same aunty of mine had to console me before I could stop😞. She was for me the best aunty in the world, and I miss her so much. Even though I was very tender at that time, it is a day I will never forget.

CONCLUSION In truth, it is absolutely impossible for me to mention every of my childhood special experiences here today. Having mentioned these few, I hope that you enjoyed reading through. I remain you boy @ernesto6402, and I appreciate your support so far. One love ✌️
