Segregation

Segregation is the broad name but problems are the cause of it all. Sometime ago, I made a post that dedicating a particular day for just yourself is a very good thing to do. Having some me-time could help you get back on track, but making it a continuous and daily thing is an entirely different case.

I understand that at some point in our life, we feel like nobody understands us and it's better to just lock yourself away and be on your own. Cases like that on extreme analysis lead to suicide.

Most times, it's always emotional. Maybe because of an emotional attachment that has broken or something. You probably had a girlfriend that you cherished so much and because of one thing or the other, the two of you fall out. You being an emotional person who can't handle the issue well, you assume that nobody else can help you and as such you resort to segregation.

That's not always the best step to take in such situations. Talk to people about it. They say that "a problem shared is a problem halved". There are still good people out there who are willing to give you a listening ear and a helping hand.

Some people don't really fancy telling their problems to others, they assume that they look weak and incapable when they pour out their minds to trusted people but that's not always the case. A trial could convince you.

Most of us are blessed to have good people around us, why not utilise the opportunity and stop segregating yourself. Talk to someone and see the difference.

With love, wongi 😊
