One Saturday morning in Uyo, Mum called Ekaette and said, “Come with me. I want to show you a special store.” Curious, Ekaette followed her through the busy streets until they arrived at a small shop tucked between two buildings. It was neat, welcoming, and filled with carefully arranged items.

Ekaette looked around in surprise. “Mum, this place is beautiful, but what makes it so special?”

Mum smiled. “This store is owned by a woman who started with only a small table by the roadside. She believed in honesty, treated every customer with respect, and never gave up. Today, her business feeds her family and employs many people.”

As they shopped, the owner greeted every customer warmly and patiently answered their questions. Even when a customer complained about a product, she listened politely and quickly solved the problem. Ekaette admired her calm attitude.

On their way home, Mum said, “The greatest treasure in this store is not the goods on the shelves. It is the owner's good character. Honesty, hard work, and kindness keep customers coming back.”

Ekaette nodded thoughtfully. “Now I understand why you called it a special store. Success is built on trust, not just money.”

From that day, Ekaette promised to be truthful, hardworking, and respectful wherever she went. She realized that anyone could build something great with patience and integrity.
