First Experience Staying In A Hostel

Hello guys....

How are you all? I hope you are all well and always happy. Meet me again, nice to meet you all. I'm back with stories and activities that I do, interesting and unique experiences.

This time, I want to share my experience staying at a hostel. A hostel in Bangkok, Thailand. And this was my first time staying at a hostel, a very interesting experience. Sleep Cafe @ Hidee Hostel, that's the name of the hostel where I stayed for one night.

As the name suggests, this isn't just a hostel, it also has a cafe. It's a hostel and cafe, very interesting.

This is a simple hostel, not spacious, but it has a strategic location. It's close to Pratunam Market, Platinum Mall, and several other popular shopping centers in Bangkok. It's also close to several cafes, minimarkets, and other shops.

To begin, let's discuss the cafe first. The cafe is located at the front of the hostel. With several benches placed along the front of the cafe. This is a small cafe, which actually doesn't have many benches and tables. It seems that many of the people who come here are customers who are staying at the hotel as well. This cafe is located right in front of the hostel entrance. With a coffee bar table that is simply placed, with a unique design and layout of the room.

It was a shame I didn't try the cafe's drinks, as I only stayed one night. I arrived in the afternoon and left in the morning to go to my next accommodation.

Now let's talk about the hostel. I booked a girls' dormitory, which has about 10 beds in one room. The dormitory is on the 4th floor, and there's no elevator. So I had to climb up to the 4th floor using the stairs while carrying my suitcase. It was very tiring but interesting.

However, every connection between one staircase and the stairs to the next floor is beautifully decorated, so I really enjoyed walking around this hostel. What caught my attention the most was a small sofa with a Stitch doll on it, very cute.

When I arrived, the dorm room was empty, so I was alone and free to take pictures. The room was clean and comfortable, with bunk beds. Luckily, I was given a bed on the bottom floor, because I wouldn't have liked the top floor.

The room has chairs (but you're not allowed to eat), lockers for storing important items, a mirror, a clothes iron, and a hair dryer. Each bed is surrounded by curtains for privacy, and there are also lights and power outlets.

There are several rules in place at this hostel, including no noise and no eating in beds or dorm rooms. So, if you want to eat, you can do so at the tables and chairs provided. Don't turn on the AC between 12 and 4 PM, so it's only allowed to run in the morning and evening. This is because the dormitory is usually empty at that time, so leaving it on would waste a lot of electricity.

Outside the dormitory rooms, there are several bathrooms. Of course, the men's and women's bathrooms are separate. The bathrooms are clean and tidy, and odor-free. There are also sinks in front of the bathrooms.

Good hostel, very comfortable, friendly service, clean place. If I go to Thailand again and have to stay in a hostel, I will definitely choose to stay here again. Very strategic location. For my first experience staying in a hostel with several people in one room that I don't know, this is an interesting experience. I met and talked with several strangers, something I don't usually do, but it was fun.

Well, that's all for my experience this time. It was a fun and valuable experience. I still have many stories to tell in Thailand, and I'll tell them later. Thank you for reading my story, see you later~
