
Columns and cranial nerve nuclei
Motor column-
1)General somatic efferent - 3,4,6 and 12 cranial nerve nuclei
2)Special visceral efferent - 5,7,9,10 and 11 cranial nerve nucei. 9,10&11 cranial nerves has common nucleus called as Nucleus ambigius.
3)General visceral efferent - 3,7,9,10 cranial nerves has edinger westphal nucleus,superior salivatory nucleus,inferior salivatory nucleus,dorsal nucleus of vagus
Sensory nucleus
1)General visceral & special visceral afferent - 5,7,9,10 cranial nerves from nucleus of tractus solitarius.
2)General somatic afferent - 5th cranial nerve nuclues and it has mesencephalic nucleus,chief nucleus and spinal nucleus
3)special somatic afferent - vestibular nuclei and cochlear nuclei
