Leg Day at Home Hit Different
In my last post, I told you guys I wouldn’t be going to the gym this month, so since then I’ve been doing my best to stay in shape and keep myself conditioned with the concrete dumbbells I made at home. Last Thursday was leg day, and boy, did it feel like hell. For some reason, it felt way more exhausting than usual, and the lunges completely sapped the energy out of me.
Because I only have a couple pairs of dumbbells, I had to improvise. I ended up doing front squats and about five sets of static lunges. I know I can structure it better next time.
Next session, I’m thinking of starting with:
Lunges
Bulgarian split squats
Goblet squats
RDLs
And some core exercises
Honestly, these things have been a lifesaver. I highly recommend having something like this in the house. You can just randomly pick them up and get some work in whenever you feel like it.
Anyways, thank you for reading. Till next time.
