No gym no problem
One of my main prerogatives last year was to get myself a home workout setup. This became increasingly important for those times when I couldn’t make it to the gym, or when I couldn’t afford to pay or even get myself there. This month, I’ve had to expand my budget, and paying my gym subscription was not in the run-in, so my cement-moulded dumbbells came in handy.
I had earlier wanted to buy a metal, more professional set, but the price was not something I could afford at the time. Eventually, I ran into an old buddy, and he helped me get a couple of dumbbells. They are great, but of course the only disadvantage is that I can’t progressively overload with this one.
Anyhoo, if you’re really serious about your fitness journey, I’d highly recommend getting a home workout set. When there are no mirrors, no friends, no eyes, no nothing, will you still pick up the weights and lift?
Had a decent upper body session. See you in the next one.
