We are having another heatwave here that may peak at 32C today. I know other places are hotter, but that is enough for us. At least we are not getting the fires.

This was intended as an easy run with lower heart rate and I mostly managed that. It crept up a bit at times despite me going about as slow as I can without walking. I did my regular route around Fairfield that is well shaded. I was pretty hot when I got back for breakfast. I did snack on some blackberries along the way.

My podcast listening was mostly Desert Island Discs featuring Norman Cook, AKA Fat Boy Slim. He has been through addiction issues, but seems happy now.

I may not get another run this week before parkrun, but my legs will appreciate the rest.

The $HIVE price is not great right now, but I am sticking with it. I have almost reached ten years on this blockchain platform and I still feel it offers a good alternative to the corporate ones. I am happy to discuss it with anyone who might want an account as I can create them for free.
