Description from Strava:
Today was just a normal run with no worries about pace or heart rate. I just go with how I feel and try to enjoy it. Of course I am listening to podcasts as usual. I can always find something interesting and it keeps me up to date with various topics.

I was doing a route I have done hundreds of times, but it is still nice to run under the trees and see the flowers. Sometimes I see some wildlife, but not much today. There are also horses and sheep in the fields around there. I smile and wave to fellow runners and to anyone else I see.

It was a little muggy out there so I did get warm. According to Strava I was slightly quicker than the same route last week with a lower heart rate. I really think that the zone 2 easy runs have had an effect.

Unfortunately it looks like our garden pool has developed a leak. I think we have had it for 8 years. It gets rolled up for storage each year and is likely to deteriorate. We have patched a few leaks over the years and will have to see if this one can be repaired. We have been looking into possible replacements.

Enjoy your week and run free!
