Description from Strava:
When I woke up today I could hear rain, but it did not sound too bad and so off I went. The weather is looking unsettled again this week, but it will not be cold.

I did my usual morning loop around Fairfield. Getting up the hill was not too bad. This route is good in that it has some ups and downs to give me a good workout. On the way down I tried to keep the pace up.

I had to stop on the way back as we are looking after some chickens whilst friends are away. There were no eggs today.

I was reading the other day about plyometrics. This is basically explosive exercises that are supposed to help with going faster. I will look at doing more of that even if it is just doing some squat jumps. I do some slow squats when brushing by teeth, but that is a different sort of exercise. I also do some press-ups and pull-ups when I find time. You can do some gentle exercises whilst watching TV to make it a less passive activity.

Talking of TV, a couple of shows we like are back on. Only Connect is a hard quiz show that makes you think. We also like the Lego Masters shows. The Australian version has teams from around the world this time making cool models.
