Morning Run: To the end
steevc just finished a 8.68km run, that lasted for 54 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 653.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
We are back in Portsmouth again. The drive down was an ordeal due to the traffic, but we are staying in a nice hotel. The weather is a bit variable and windy at times. Last night we saw our daughter play in the university orchestra after dinner at a Thai restaurant.
This morning the weather was not looking too bad. I headed out to the seafront. A navy ship was just coming in. I ran to the far end of the esplanade. There were lots of people out including plenty of runners. There is still lots of building work going on for sea defence. The area where the parkrun started when we did it is now a building site.
I had not been all the way to the end before. There is a big military building there.
When I turned around I got a bit of a headwind, but it was not too bad. It got a little stronger when I reached the pier. I ran away from the front where it was quieter. I was taking it fairly easy as I have a few aches, but I was feeling pretty good. We will be off for breakfast soon after I have a shower.
Fun free.
