Greetings, community, especially #Gems! Today I want to share with you a moment that fills any parent's heart: the shirt reveal for the graduating class of U.E.N. Paula Correa de Zamora, here in my beloved town of Villa de Cura.

El pasado lunes 11, el salón parroquial se llenó de alegría y nostalgia. Ver a los estudiantes de las secciones A, B y C reunidos marcó el inicio de la despedida de una etapa maravillosa. El evento fue sumamente emotivo; cada madre tuvo el honor de entregar la camisa a su hijo o representado, un gesto que simboliza todo el apoyo y el esfuerzo que hemos hecho como familia para llegar hasta aquí.
Last Monday the 11th, the parish hall was filled with joy and nostalgia. Seeing the students from sections A, B, and C gathered marked the beginning of the end of a wonderful stage. The event was deeply emotional; each mother had the honor of handing the shirt to her child, a gesture that symbolizes all the support and effort we have made as a family to get to this point.
La celebración estuvo a la altura del esfuerzo de nuestros muchachos. Contamos con la música de los Mariachis Costeños, quienes pusieron a todos a cantar, y la gran sorpresa de la tarde: un robot animador que llenó de energía el salón mientras ayudaba en la entrega de las camisas. Ver sus caras de felicidad al lucir sus nuevas prendas fue el mejor regalo para nosotros.
The celebration lived up to our kids' hard work. We had music from the Mariachis Costeños, who got everyone singing, and the big surprise of the afternoon: an entertainer robot that filled the hall with energy while helping deliver the shirts. Seeing their happy faces wearing their new shirts was the best gift for us.
Como padre, me invade un sentimiento de orgullo profundo. Sabemos que el bachillerato es un proceso largo, lleno de retos y aprendizajes, tanto para los estudiantes como para nosotros los padres. Ver a mi hija y a sus compañeros triunfar me confirma que con perseverancia y esfuerzo los sueños se cumplen. Ahora se preparan para la universidad, una nueva meta donde estoy seguro de que seguirán brillando.
As a father, I am overcome with a feeling of deep pride. We know that high school is a long process, full of challenges and learning, both for the students and for us parents. Seeing my daughter and her classmates succeed confirms to me that with perseverance and effort, dreams do come true. Now they are preparing for university, a new goal where I am sure they will continue to shine.
