Three Tune Tuesday - God is an Astronaut

Here are some of my favorite songs by God is an Astronaut for this #threetunetuesday by @ablaze

I like most songs by Gods is an Astronaut so I'm showing the ones that they made videos for. This one is called Fade and its one of their more heavy songs with a nice bass riff and some wall of sound guitars farther down in the song. They have a nice post rock feel to them with complex transitions between songs with lots of meandering riffs.

This one is called Adrift. Like many post rock bands they do some really odd timing with the drums which makes for more of an interesting listen compared to just simple 4/4 rock timing. What I like most about this band is the bass and guitar and how they play off each other.

This one is called Burial. I like the peaks and valleys of moods with this song. It starts out sort of cinematic ambient then gets heavy then goes into some synthy stuff towards the end and back to heavy rock riffs. Typically when I'm programming something at work I throw one one of their full albums and get zoned in on the code.
