Trippy Thursday - The Beak
Here is a ballpoint pen doodle for this #trippythursday
An original lost diary of Charles Darwin has been discovered washed up on a tiny island. In this book he discovered a strange mutation that didn't fit into his theory.
For some reason this species was part silicon, metal and the physiology seemed half biologic and half metal...
Instead of eyes it uses radar (not invented yet for Darwin) and it pings all elements in its vicinity with electronic waves to navigate.
It actually has multiple beaks according to Darwin. How could something even evolve to need two beaks?
As Darwin approaches this specimen to harvest it for his collection suddenly needle-like barbs protrude and pierce his skin.
Now with the poison soaking through his skin he collapses and his notes fall into a rocky crevice of the shoreline.
As it turns out this is an alien drone that visits the Galapagos Islands to tweak the DNA of its biological creations every now and then. Before leaving the island it takes a sample of Darwin's DNA to tweak it. The drone reprograms Darwin's brain to forget the whole experience and leaves him with new notebooks. The watchers don't want their gardening experiment exposed.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
