The first harvesting day
The day did not start very well as my friend called saying he was not feeling right and was not coming. It was 7am, the sun was rising and I decided to start alone.
I grabbed the shacker and harvested the first tree. Collecting the big net alone is not an easy task, so it took me a while as I didn't want any of those precious olives to run away.
After the first mid-size trees, my friend showed up and we decided to concentrate in the trees with the bigest amount of olives.
The final result was 140 Kgs of olives which produced 16 liters of oil. I will also pickle some of the big ones as I did last year.
