Wine cork
I woke up early this morning. At 6 am some workers decided to stop their truck in front of the farm qnd manually extract the cork of three huge oak trees.
It took them about 30 minutes and they loaded the full track with the cork.
Portugal is one of the biggest producers of cork qnd the owl trees are protected by law. The tcok geta extracted from the trees every 9 years wnd send to processing plants to produce the bottle tops.
Next time you enjoy a bottle of wine, remember how hard work iw done just to keep the liquid in perfect conditions.
