City Art
When I was a kid, most of the independent shops in town had the same shutters, old metallic steel color which owners had to push up manually as electric engines where still something you could only see in future movies.
As I was growing up into a teenager, little by little, graffiti artist started painting most of the elements in the city such as walls, busses and trams, shop shutters were one of their favorite elements which were mainly decorated with colorful words initially.
Over the years, new paintings started poping up all over, but the style was not changing too much
Luckily, over the years artists with newer styles and themes have appeared, replacing some of those old paintings with nicer ones
Lately, there is a movement in town to decorate those shutters with old car paintings, one of them the Seat 600 produced under Fist licence out of their Cinquecento model, and it is lovely to see them while walking by as it reminds me those old days in the 70's when most of the families had one
