罪己诏 - crime edict
In ancient China, when there was a natural disaster, the emperor normally would issue a crime edict, blaming himself for this disaster. It revealed one thing Mr. Yangming taught us, that is we are all connected, like Seth said, we created our reality. When we first learned spirituality, we were told that we are love and we are light, it is very hard for us to feel that we are one connected unity. That is why Mr. Yangming told us to work on it by three steps. First, the worker level. In this stage, we don't know what happened to us, life is hard as we struggle. Then gradually we get to the foreman's level,x we realized that there is heaven above us, and we try to understand the heaven's way - Tao. Finally, after we learned all the heavenly Tao by overcoming all our weakness, we get to the master's level, where we can follow our heart, do whatever we want within the limit. You might say, it is easy to say, but hard to follow, how to do it exactly? In his book -Chuan Xi Lu, Mr. Yangming told us to follow up on every issue in our life, like Buddha said, each trouble is a Bodhi. After you go through this problem, you get the wisdom behind.
