知行合一 - unity of knowledge and practice
Mr. Yangming said that our knowledge and practice is always linked together, never separated. Here the knowledge is NOT we learned in our brain, but our belief in our heart. That is why in the bible, Jesus said if our belief can be as big as a tiny mustard seed, we can move a mountain. If we find that our reality is different than what we think, then it is the problem of our belief, not other person or issues in the outside world. We have to look within to find out the problem in our belief, not wiping the mirror, trying to remove the spots on your face.
