This Week’s Sweets: Strawberry Choux, Cookies, and Doughnuts
Hi bloggers and food lovers, have a great weekend! Today I didn’t bake anything, but I bought some sweets that I love. The treats I bought this time come highly recommended because they look beautiful and taste delicious. I got Strawberry Choux, Cookies, and Donuts.
Strawberry Choux au Craquelin
The first time I saw this dessert in the store window, I was immediately drawn to it and bought one to take home. As a strawberry lover, I think this dessert is absolutely beautiful, and it’s not too sweet. What’s interesting is that the filling is a rose-scented cream—it’s not as sweet as I imagined, but it’s totally worth it because the combination of the choux pastry and the rose cream is a perfect match and delicious, especially when eaten cold.
Cookies
I bought these cookies from my friend’s business; she sells a variety of desserts. This time, I bought several types of cookies—a package containing og cookies, matcha cookies, funfetti cookies, red velvet cookies, and double chocolate cookies. The cookies are perfect for enjoying with coffee, they’re sweet and, of course, very fragrant.
My favorite variety is the Funfetti, it reminds me of the fun times of my childhood, with its colorful sprinkles and a stronger milky aroma.
Doughnuts from T311
These doughnuts went viral in my area because of their dense yet soft texture. They come in several flavors. I was actually curious about the caramel doughnut, but when I went there, it was already sold out, so I bought three different flavors: almond, tiramisu, and meat floss.
My favorite is this almond donut: the cream topping and toasted almonds are the perfect combination for enjoying a relaxing weekend. The cream isn’t too sweet, and the texture of the toasted almonds complements it perfectly.
Okay, that’s all for this week’s sweet treats. Thank you!
