Honey Garlic Meatballs
Hi bloggers and food lovers, what are you having for lunch today? My lunch today is honey garlic meatballs. It’s a simple and easy lunch recipe that you can easily recreate. You can serve it with a bowl of warm rice, or enjoy it as a snack if you prefer. It has a savory, sweet, and slightly spicy flavor. The chewy and slightly sticky texture makes it a delight to chew. Okay, let’s get started
Ingredients:
- 100 grams of chicken meatballs
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 100 ml water
- cooking oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
- cornstarch slurry
- toasted sesame seeds
Steps:
- Prepare the all-purpose flour mixed with water until it reaches a thick consistency
- Coat the chicken meatballs in the flour mixture
- Place them in a pan with hot oil
- Fry the meatballs until cooked through and golden brown
- Remove and drain
- Sauté the minced garlic in the pan until fragrant
- Add the soy sauce and dark soy sauce
- Add the chili flakes and add the water and stir until well combined
- Add the honey to the pan
- Stir again until well combined
- Add cornstarch slurry and stirr well combine
- Add the fried meatballs to the pan
Stir until all sides of the meatballs are coated with the sauce
Remove from heat and serve
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top
- Honey garlic meatballs are ready to eat
