Classic Marble Cake
Hi bloggers and food lovers, how are you all doing? I’ve been busy these past few days preparing for my sister’s wedding. So I’ve been baking a few cakes, one of which is this classic marble cake. This recipe makes two cake pans. Okay, let’s get right to it
Ingredients:
- 10 eggs
- 500 grams of butter
- 500 grams of granulated sugar
- 500 grams of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 packets of vanilla
- 40 grams of sweetened condensed milk
- mocha paste
Instructions:
- Crack the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks
Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form
Set aside
- In another bowl, combine the sugar and butter and add the vanilla powder
- Mix the ingredients until well combined and fluffy with mixer
- Gradually add the egg yolks to the batter while continuing to mix
Add the all-purpose flour and reduce the mixer speed
Turn off the mixer once the mixture is well combined
Set aside a small amount of the batter
- Pour the batter into a baking pan that has been greased with margarine and dusted with flour
- Add the mocha paste to the remaining batter then mix the batter with the paste
- Pour the mocha-flavored batter on top of the plain batter
- Swirl the batters together with a fork to create a marbled pattern
- Place the pan in the oven and bake at 180°C for 1 hour
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool
- The classic marble cake is ready to enjoy
